About Our Funding and Your Proposals

The Foundation is funded by Skookum. We do not raise funds independently. So, we don't really compete with other non-governmental organizations for the supply of philanthropic monies in the community. The projects we take on have a scope appropriate to our internal resources. We look forward, in particular cases, to partner with other entities, pooling our resources to accomplish something of a grander size.

Our projects are determined from the conversation and energies of our Community of Elders.  We do not accept requests for funding outside of our own processes.
